EXTRUDED PET FOODS

APPLICATION

ensure the quality and balance of feed components

ADVANTAGES

  • quality cleaning of materials from harmful microorganisms and toxins
  • production of extruded feed with protein, vitamins, mineral supplements
  • high starch dextrinization degree - 90%
  • improved shape of plastified product

RAW MATERIAL

meat and bone meal, blood meal, fish flour, shrimp flour, yeast, sunflower meal, flax seed meal, alfalfagrape pomace, peanut flour, peas, corn, wheat, rice

All predators have a rather primitive digestive system.

A limited set of enzymes does not allow them to digest fiber and carbohydrates, of which mainly consists plant foods.

Extrusion with preconditioning produces available for digestion of dogs, cats and predators feed using carbohydrates as the main energy source.

Carbohydrates are cheaper and more available than proteins and provide structure, texture, and shape of pellet feed.

These carbohydrates are found in large quantities in grains of plants such as rice, wheat, corn, barley, oats.

When cooked these carbohydrates found in most cat food, they are easily and quickly digested.

The resulting food is easy to split into portions, well kept and easy to digest.

Benefits:

• High degree of gelatinization of starch - 90%.
• Large particle surface and porous structure that provides a more easy penetration of the gastric juice and proper enzymes in feed.
• Extruded pellets unlike the granules are not so hard, so do not
injure the esophagus and stomach of animals.
• Coarseness, so the dust does not form, and thus does not cause adhesion of digestion and respiration organs.
• Resistance of pellets to abrasion.
• Stability and sustainability when transported.
• Higher hygiene of feeds.
• Use of low-grade waste for cooking enriched feed.
• Reduced consumption of feeds.
• Larger increasing in weight of animals.
