PURPOSE: for the production of extruded feed

Extruded feed technology BRONTO increases the digestibility of feed components, allows you to change the specific gravity, shape and size of feed pellets.



  • To increase digestibility: converts complex substances in feed ingredients into easily digestible forms. Foams the structure of the feed – improves access for gastric juices
  • To create a safe feed: due to thermobaric treatment, it deactivates harmful microorganisms
  • For the controlled production of floating, slowly sinking or sinking fish feed




Raw material requirements:

  • humidity 7 … 12%
  • functional protein* in mixture: unlimited
  • non-functional protein** in mixture: max 25%
  • fat content of the mixture: max 10%
  • contamination: according to storage standards


Fat content of feed pellets: max 35%

functional protein – a protein that has not been subjected to high-temperature processing:

(retained solubility, fat-binding and water-binding capacity)


** non-functional protein – a protein with low functional properties

(solubility, fat-binding and moisture-binding capacity are significantly reduced

as a result of high temperature processing)


Requirements for the premises:

  • temperature: min 5 ° С
  • the presence of a concrete floor with a height difference of no more than 5 mm per 1 m of length and the strength of the concrete base is not less than 30 N / mm², the moisture content of the base should not exceed 5%
  • for a productivity of 1000 kg / h: electric power, brought into the room: min 250 kW
  • for a capacity of 1000 kg / h: heat generation: min 570 kW


How the feed is produced:

  • feed components are pre-crushed
  • ingredients are mixed according to the recipe
  • the mixture is crushed to a fraction of max 1/3 of the granule size
  • the mixture is extruded at a fat content of max 10%
  • extruded feed pellet is dried up to 8 … 10% at a temperature of max 80 ° С
  • max 30% fats and flavorings are added to the granule
  • feed is cooled to 40 ± 5 ° С
  • the feed pellet is sorted


After making, the feed is sent to packaging and storage.
