ADVANTAGES

- uniform introduction of fat into the pellets
SEQUENCE OF OPERATION
BENEFITS OF VACUUM COATER
The extruded pellets have a very porous inner structure. It is within the pores of this internal structure that added liquid is retained. The objective of vacuum coating is to use a pressure differential to force liquids through the outer layer and deeply into the porous area of the pellet
- Measurement of the weight of the empty volume of the coater
- Filling the volume with dry pellet
- Mixing pellets in a coater
- Measurement of the weight of the filled coater
- Pumping air out of the coater
- Fat intake
- Pressure equalization in the coater
- Application of liquid / hydrated additives
- Application of dry additives
- Unloading pellets from coater
