The feeder can be biased relative to other technological units – for maintenance.

In this case besides the transportation screw conveyor is used to cool the product and remove the steam.

HOW TO SET UP THE SCREW FEEDER? PRE-OPERATION STAGE.

First of all, inspect equipment for foreign matter prior to starting the screw feeder.

Check grease availability in the bearing assembly.

Check the gear motor shaft rotation. The right shaft rotation is clockwise, according the arrow on the gear motor surface.

Make sure there are no foreign objects in the inner part of the screw feeder.

Run a short idle start (no more than 1 min.) Make sure of proper operation and the absence of extraneous sounds.

Check whether the pipe exhaust ventilation and the screw feeder are joint securely.

7

Open the gate mounted on the exhaust ventilation pipe.

HOW TO START THE SCREW FEEDER?

Turn ON the exhaust ventilation connected to the screw feeder.

Start the screw feeder using the control panel.

3

Feed the raw material into the loading hopper.

HOW TO STOP THE SCREW FEEDER?

1

Stop the product from feeding into the screw feeder.

2

After the residual material has been discharged, stop the machine.

3

Turn OFF the exhaust ventilation connected to the screw feeder.

4

After the drive has completely stopped, if raw material is sticking, clean the screw, pipes and trough.
