Description of technology:

 

1) STORAGE OF RAW MATERIAL:

Storage: from 300 m²

 

2) RAW MATERIAL PREPARATION:

Raw material cleaning: storage standards
Pre-grinding: up to 1 … 3 mm
Additional grinding: fraction max 1 mm

 

3) INGREDIENTS MEASUREMENT AND RECIPE MIXING:

Fat content in the mixture: max 8%
Moisture content: 8 … 20%
Fiber сontent: max 20%
Non-functional protein content: max 25%
Functional Protein Content: unlimited
Grain content (starch): min 15%

 

4) PRECONDITIONING:

Raw material heating: 70 … 120 °C
Moisture input: max 160 kg/hour
Fat input: max 5 kg/hour

 

5) EXTRUSION:

The feedstock is conveyed forward by the screw inside the extruder barrel. Under the high shear it is compressed, mixed and heated

raw material is heated: up to 120 … 150 °C
the prouduct is expanded right at the die surface
as a result the product volume is increased in 1,2 … 3 times
final pellets get their even shape and size

 

6) DRYING:

Raw material inlet humidity: max 25%
Drying temperature: 80 … 120 °C
Outlet product temperature: max 40 °C
Output Humidity: max 10%

 

7) FAT, VITAMINS AND DRY ADDITIVES:

Fat content at the input: min 5%
Fat content at the output: max 35%
Adding: max 3 liquids and 1 dry component
Product temperature at the output: max 40 °C

 

8) COOLING:

After the final product had been discharged from the cooler, its temperature is 5 °C higher than the temperature in the shop

 

9) PACKAGING AND STORAGE:

Warehouse of unpacked product: from 100 m³
Packaging equipment: under the weight of 1 … 15 kg
Warehouse of packaged product: from 200 m³

 

10) LAB:

Determination of fat and protein, moisture

 

 

For effective operation:

 

RAW MATERIAL CLEANING:

Use only cleaned raw material:

• remove light and heavy impurities
• if necessary, divide into fractions
• the content of impurities is not
more than 3%

 

MOISTURE OF RAW MATERIAL:

Optimum moisture: 8 … 15%

 

PREMISES, SHOP REQUIREMENTS:

Difference in floor heights: 2 mm / m
Indoor temperature: min 5 °C
