BRONTO’s Technological Leap: A New Generation of Equipment for the Manufacture of Spare Parts

A major upgrade of equipment has taken place at the BRONTO factory’s production facilities. We have taken another step towards excellence by replacing outdated, older-generation German-made machine tools with an automated CNC system from South Korea and the latest software.

This move has not only enabled us to improve product quality, but has also fully optimised the production process and significantly reduced the human factor.

What has changed in our production?

  • New CNC machine: We have introduced specialised equipment from South Korea for manufacturing parts for our extruders — such as rollers. High rigidity and positioning accuracy ensure the perfect geometry of the components, which guarantees stable operation of the production line.
  • High-speed CNC EDM machine: This equipment has increased the production speed of complex parts tenfold. We now manufacture technically complex components — such as splines and dies — with impeccable precision, which were previously impossible to produce using our old machinery.
  • Working with thicker metal: Thanks to updated software and the increased capabilities of our machines, we have expanded the range of metal thicknesses we can process. This enables us to create even more robust and durable structures.

What does this mean for our customers?

  1. 1.    Guaranteed quality: Components fit perfectly, minimising equipment wear during intensive use.
  2. 2.    Enhanced reliability: The use of sophisticated electrical discharge machining (EDM) technologies enables us to produce components with a longer service life.
  3. 3.    Efficiency: Thanks to a tenfold acceleration of processes, lead times for orders and the supply of original spare parts for your production lines have been significantly reduced.

The modernisation of BRONTO’s production facilities is our investment in your success and the smooth running of your business. We continue to refine our technologies so that you receive the best industrial equipment in Ukraine and worldwide.

What does this mean for us?

“Today, for a engineering company, investing in its own production facilities is not merely a desire to upgrade its machinery; it is a strategic necessity. The use of state-of-the-art equipment enables BRONTO to achieve strict compliance with international quality and safety standards. In a world where demands on agricultural technology are constantly rising, the ability to manufacture components with European precision becomes a key advantage, opening the door to global markets for our customers”- says Ivan Kostyan, Commercial Director of Bronto.

Who is behind BRONTO equipment: how the engineering R&D department works

When a customer chooses an oil press or an extruder, they rarely see the people behind the scenes who decide what pressing temperature is best suited to their raw materials, whether the seed chamber can handle a particular variety of rapeseed, and why one model produces oilcake with an oil content of 8 per cent whilst another produces oilcake with a higher oil content. We’d like to give you a little glimpse behind the scenes – not to talk about the equipment models themselves, but to explain how the team that designs, tests and refines them works.

What types of animal feed can BRONTO equipment produce?

The same BRONTO technological platform — a single-screw extruder, belt dryer, vacuum cooler and pellet cooler — allows for the production of feed with completely different purposes, depending on the recipe and various settings. The difference lies not in the equipment itself, but in how it is configured: the extrusion temperature, the degree of pellet expansion, the moisture content of the mixture and the method of adding fats determine whether the line will produce dry dog food, floating pellets for tilapia or complete feed for poultry. Let’s take a look at the types of feed that are actually produced on BRONTO lines.
