PRIME 6 (USA, West Virginia) is an innovative manufacturer of premium wood fuel briquettes.
The company received funding from a private investor after its successful participation in the show “Shark Tank” and focuses on the production of high-quality charcoal from briquettes. The client is targeting the US market, where the sale of briquette products has great potential.

To ensure a significant expansion of production after attracting investment, while maintaining the highest quality standards. The maximum density of briquettes and their ideal shape were required.

Despite the fact that the sale of briquette products in America has great potential, the company PRIME 6 had to look for another location, because the first selected location had environmental restrictions, as there were strict smoke emission control standards. An additional problem was that the raw material had to be of optimal size and moisture for briquetting, and the client faced problems with raw materials at the current location.

Previous attempts to purchase cheap equipment in China and Vietnam ended in failure: the equipment was unreliable, broke down quickly and could not guarantee the required quality.

Based on reputation, superior metalworking and technological quality, PRIME 6 chose BRONTO. 8 sets of BRONTO EB-350 Extruders for fuel briquettes with automatic cross-cutting saws were supplied.

The solution included full engineering support: modernization of the electrical panel for the American network and dispatch of our service engineers for commissioning and training of local specialists. Also, due to identified problems with the client’s raw materials, BRONTO representatives will travel to them to provide consultations on optimizing the grinding and drying processes.

The introduction of BRONTO EB-350 extruders allowed PRIME 6 to achieve a significant breakthrough and gain a foothold in strategic markets.

Geographical Expansion: Thanks to high quality, BRONTO equipment allowed PRIME 6 to ensure stable supply of products to the key sales market, namely the entire territory of the USA.

Quantitative Growth and Quality: The plant’s production capacity increased by 1,500 tons of quality briquettes per month (up to 3 tons/hour). BRONTO extruders guaranteed the necessary high density and provided the key consumer benefits of the product: the briquette gives heat without fire, no waste.

Strategic Sustainability: The successful implementation of reliable equipment has allowed PRIME 6 to fulfill its obligations to investors and in the future will help realize its grand plan to expand from 8 extruders to 40.
